“We all know now, we all got crowns,”

GIRL noun. /ɡərl/ INFORMAL women who mix socially or belong to a particular group, team, or profession.

CODE noun. /kōd/ a system of words, letters, figures, or other symbols substituted for other words, letters, etc., especially for the purposes of secrecy.

When combined, Girl Code is NOT a secret. It is the foundational principles of higher individuality & the guiding light to creating TRUE Sisterhood.

“I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things ”

— Mother Teresa, Saint of Calcutta

The most effective way for Girl Time Inc. to create a collective heartbeat is to establish GIRL CODE.

In this space, WE can do great things! When girls and women feel SAFE,

STRENGTH | AWARENESS | FEARLESSNESS | EMPOWERED

Together, we will lead with our hearts, share in the vision/mission of a community- fully connected and working together for the greatest good of each other.

Girls to Women: The Roots

I was an educator to girls before I was an educator to women.

Before I was the CEO & Founder of Girl Time Inc., I was a contract Teacher in Ottawa. That is where the first Girls Run Group started, the first Girl Club originated and where GIRL CODE was created! From there, when I had my daughter, I knew that her future sisterhood and relationships would make a great difference in her life. That plus, she watches and learns from me; I am her biggest social influencer.

Pulling it all together, my University degree’s and education in Sociology, Women Studies, Psychology & Bachelor of Education plus my experience working as a Primary/Junior Educator, Interior Designer, Event Planner, CEO & FOUNDER of GTINC., Author & in general, my life experience as a woman, I can confidently say that if there is a group of girls and/or women, then there is a NEED for Girl CODE.

What I know, is that conflict resolution, social behaviours, girl drama, management and human dynamics is all learned- which means, it can be taught.

Let’s hit it even deeper ~ Comparison, competition and threat are the biggest causes of conflicts amongst girls and women. When these are not addressed &/or a solution has not be made, behaviours such as ghosting, back-stabbing, gossiping, exclusion and down right mean girl mentality arrives. As a result, the culture of any sport, any classroom, any social group will feel the impact of this disconnect and lead to SISTER Wounds.

Enter Girl Code:

prin·ci·ple : noun. /ˈprinsəp(ə)l/ ~ a fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior or for a chain of reasoning.

Enter into a supportive female (she/her/they) space, a community of girls & women dedicated to growth. A sanctuary that inspires us all to move towards authenticity.

Girl Code: 9 Foundational principles for creating healthy female relationships.

It helps women & girls build an internal compass that will guide them to become the most authentic version of themselves along side a community of other women and girls who support them.

Together, we learn the strategies, strengthen our ‘life” tool belts, seek deeper understanding of SELF and group development PLUS create the KULA community culture and a SAFE environment.
